Welcome to Lever Turner Cowdell’s monthly blog update for July 2026. The past month has seen continued momentum across the practice, with work progressing on a broad range of residential and commercial developments. Our team has remained focused on moving projects forward through each stage of the design process, working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and contractors to overcome challenges and maintain programme objectives. By combining technical expertise with a thoughtful design approach, we continue to deliver solutions that respond to our clients’ aspirations while meeting the practical demands of each project.

Monthly Update

This month, our team has been busy both on site and in the office. We carried out measured surveys of three commercial units in Oldbury to provide accurate GIA and GEA calculations, and completed a 3D laser scan of an existing warehouse at a car manufacturing facility in Swindon to support planned floor repair works.

Our project work has also continued to progress well. We have started preparing the construction drawing package for the refurbishment of an industrial building in Droitwich Spa and completed planning drawing packages for two residential developments in Stourbridge and South Staffordshire, helping both projects move forward to the next stage.

Project Spotlight

We are excited to share a bespoke sketch scheme to support a planning application for three detached bungalows alongside our clients existing family home.

The proposal has been carefully developed to create high-quality homes, ensuring the new dwellings sit comfortably within the site and surrounding conext while supporting sustainable design. We look forward to progressing the scheme through the planning process with our team of trusted consultants.
