Monthly Update:
September is known as back to school and this month has seen completions to two of our conversion projects including a further education facility in Hull and residential apartments in Birmingham.
Project Spotlight: East Riding College, Hull City Centre
Back in February 2024 we posted about the initial survey instruction to measure a former bar/nightclub in Hull known as the Rhythm room and unfortunately the building had stood vacant for 15 years detracting from the vitality of the area.
Externally minimal changes were proposed however internally the large open plan dance floor and bar areas were stripped out and sub divided into specialist dance classrooms, band practice rooms and teaching spaces for East riding College.
An entire new floor was erected in steel frame within the vast roof void with rooflights to provide natural light whilst being of a high acoustic rating due to residential neighbours.
