Welcome to June’s blog, which shares the most recent developments and updates into Lever Turner and Cowdell. The month of June has been yet another busy month, with a host of different surveys to complete.
Monthly Update: A new Member of our team?
During the month of June we welcomed an enthusiastic sixth former from one of our local high schools for a week of work experience, where we taught them the ins and outs of everything we do here at LTC. We love offering work experience to young people looking for a career in our industry, where we aim to show them as much as we can and hope to provide a positive experience and outlook into the world of Architecture, Building Surveying & Town Planning.
Project Spotlight: Unipart Cowley – Measured Elevation Survey
This month one of our surveyors undertook an existing elevation survey of a Warehouse, and six storey office block in Oxfordshire totalling over 880,000 sqft, which was no easy task especially in the mid-summer heat. Due to the busy nature of the site and high volumes of site traffic our surveyor was required to attend site over the weekend, but with the help of our laser scanner we were able to get the survey done in just 3 days! Now time for data processing and drawings.
Completed Projects: Direct Line Group – Drainage Surveys
June has seen our surveyors travelling up and down the country, from Crawley all the way up to Newcastle, and everywhere in between. All of this driving was to undertake As Built surveys for proposed drainage layouts we completed back in 2021. Lots of driving, cross checking, and drawing later and all 14 surveys have been successfully completed and sent to the client.
