this project sought to develop a detached dwelling into a four-bedroom home within the clients existing, and extensive garden demise. A key factor that guided the design has been the general character of the immediate suburban context, which presents a range of two-story detached houses, and bungalows with front gardens and various, scattered trees. 

the client wanted to maintain the local distinctiveness for their home but with a bespoke characteristic. This resulted in a high-quality, contemporary design offering an improvement to the appearance of the area, whilst maintaining a sense of separation through retaining existing trees and vegetation.
