Welcome to July’s blog, which shares the most recent developments and updates into Lever Turner and Cowdell. Over the last month, we have been busy as usual, with several measured surveys across the country as well as a few exciting proposals.

Monthly Update: Travelling across the country

The past month has been a busy one, with surveys taking us from up in Washington, Sunderland down to Croydon, London. Many hours have been spent on the motorway or sitting on a train to measure various sizes of industrial units and provide our clients with accurate drawings of their existing buildings.

Project Spotlight: Former Rolling Mills Site, Stourbridge

This is a project we have mentioned before, a combined residential & commercial development across three separate brownfield sites in the centre of Stourbridge. We are revisiting this one though, as we have had an exciting new redesign! The Stourbridge planning department decided that the scheme wasn’t for them, so rather than abandon it, we thought we’d have another go. With the proposal revised to address the council’s comments, we are hoping to resubmit the application and win them over. Fingers crossed for round two!

What else have we been up to…

Of course, the big event in the past month was the Euro’s. Everyone at LTC showed true supporter spirit, with flags decorating the office, a sweepstake chart on the wall and plenty of cheering for every goal. Unfortunately, the Lions didn’t quite bring it home, but they were ever so close, and we’re proud of all their efforts. There’s always the World Cup…
